As someone who loves to travel, I have stayed in many different types of accommodation. Of all the types of accommodation I have tried, my favourite has to be bed and breakfast (B&B). This may come as a surprise to some people, as B&B is not as luxurious as a hotel. However, there are several reasons why I prefer B&B when travelling.
The first reason is that B&B is more personal. I have never had a bad experience at a B&B, as the owners always make you feel welcome. In contrast, I have had bad experiences at hotels, where the staff have been unhelpful or uninterested in me as a customer.
The second reason is that B&B is more affordable than a hotel. This is particularly important for budget-conscious travellers like me.
The third reason is that B&B offers more flexibility than a hotel. For example, B&B owners are often happy to provide breakfast for early risers or dinner for those who arrive late. In contrast, hotels often have fixed meal times that do not accommodate all travellers.
The fourth reason is that B&B is more intimate than a hotel. This means that you are more likely to meet other travellers and form relationships with them. This has happened to me on many occasions, and I have made some good friends through B&B.
